Dealer Profile: Tim Harris

This is a continuing series of profiles on the folks behind the crates at the Savannah Record Fair.
Tim Harris recently moved to Lynchburg, Va, after 25 years in Washington, D.C. Tim’s bringing records from a variety of genres including “reggae, international, incredibly strange, childrens, soundtracks, spoken word, private press, school bands, gospel, Latin, jazz and folk” in a variety of formats along with “record-related paper and art.”
Tim started collecting Beatles records as a kid growing up in Detroit, studied mass communications and worked in radio. He worked as a sales manager for a reggae label for 15 years, owns a small reissue-label and has “traveled around the world selling unusual vinyl since 1997.”
