Vendor Profile: Roger Hoppe, II
April 7, 2011 in Vendor Profiles
Roger Hoppe, II is from Detroit, Michigan. “The Motor City,” he said, “and sometimes Cincinnati, Ohio.” He’s worked in radio since high school and started collecting in the late 80s, “when radio stations were throwing away their vinyl,” he explained. “Lucky me!”
Roger is “heavy on the 70s and 80s and especially 80s rock,” and is also bringing other rock titles, R&B, indie label releases, metal, alternative and new wave. Formats? He stocks LPs, 45s, import CDs, import picture discs and other “rare stuff.”

At the last show, a girl named Jamie spent quite a bit of time at my table. She bought a KINKS box-set and some other things, and helped me by watching my tables for awhile. Jamie was really into comics and drawing and knew A LOT about music! She told me she was from Cincinnati. If anyone knows Jamie, please let her know that I would enjoy seeing her again, and will gladly pay her to help me at the show! thanks.
