BINGE-A-THON 2K12: AND THEN THERE WERE TWO

May 20, 2012 in Uncategorized

Last time, on BINGE-A-THON…

Six contestants entered the arena, along with several guests. Tim bowed out after 14 hours, declaring “This is stupid.” Many hours later, Ian and Lindsay left, leaving three contestants when Tony checked back in at 7 pm on Saturday, 21 hours into the competition. It wasn’t until after 29 hours that Aimee left the building, and Rachel and Meg were left standing. Or really, kinda slouched and trying their best not to nod off. You get the idea.

Rachel and Meg shaking hands to declare a truce, and Tony using his hostly powers to confirm it.

The contestants called in Tony at 4 in the morning, and when it became clear that both remaining contestants were determined enough to make it to noon the next day but both would rather get some sleep, the tiebreaker was put into place.

So it came down to this.

In the style of Survivor, the winner will be chosen at a final tribal council. The four former contestants and three neutral observers of the event will make up the jury and will be asked to vote for either Meg Cook or Rachel Warner as the winner of BINGE-A-THON. The winner will be announced at the Student Media Center this Friday at 2pm, after Tony jumps out of a helicopter and right into the station, carrying a clay pot with the votes. Until then, BINGE-A-THON leaves you with a cliffhanger.
