Letter to the SCAD Radio Sports Listeners
Dear SCAD Radio Sports Listeners,
There have been some comments about the games we cover. That’s great! We appreciate the feedback. But there are some things you should know:
1. Our sports broadcasts are 100 percent student-produced. That means everyone involved — from producers to announcers — is a student, exactly like the athletes who play for the Bees. Just as they are continuously striving to improve their game, so are we. Please bear with us as we learn.
2. Our sports broadcast schedule is determined not by a preference for particular sports or teams, but by the class and work schedules of the students described above. Producing or announcing a broadcast is not currently recognized as an excused absence under SCAD’s rigorous attendance policy. The reality is that classes come first and sometimes we simply don’t have staff available to bring you a particular game.
3. When it comes to the knowledge of a certain sport not all of the staff has played all of the sports. But, we do our best and hope you enjoy being able to listen the SCAD teams on SCAD Radio if you cannot make it out to the games. If you know someone or you are a student at SCAD, who knows a particular sport, then come and join our crew.
But again, we welcome your feedback. If you have any additional questions or comments or if you want to join our team please e-mail Rosa Schowengerdt, Sports Director, at sports@scadradio.org.

Thanks in advance for broadcasting the Men’s Lax game vs Coastal Carolina. In an attempt to boost your audience, a post was added on the collegelax.us website for the game. Hope there are many more (Men’s Lax) to follow.
Thanks so much, Robert. Hope you enjoy the broadcast!
